There are many advantages to learning karate – its not just about self-defence. You can expect to improve your self confidence, increase your self-respect and self-discipline, improve your fitness levels, stamina, balance and co-ordination and above all its fun and a great way to meet people.
The karate classes are run in a friendly, non-threatening way so there is no need to be apprehensive about coming along for the first time. Likewise, if you are an experienced martial artist, the club provides a very high level of professionalism and expertise with your safety in mind at all times.
Plymouth Wood View Karate Club at Sir John Hunt Community Sports Centre caters for teenagers (12yrs +) and adults. Karate classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm.

A monthly fee of £25 is payable in advance by standing order at the beginning of the month. The fee covers as many sessions each month as you would like to do – come twice a week or just once … it’s up to you!
In additional, there is a small one-off annual membership fee of £20 to register with the Club.
